At Clare Hall Nursing Home, we believe that good food is one of the greatest pleasures in life. Mealtimes are more than just a chance to eat – they are moments to connect, enjoy and feel at home

Whether your loved one enjoys the spices from overseas, or maybe they’re used to something a little more traditional, our skilled chefs create appetising, nutritionally balanced and beautifully presented food, with varied, seasonally inspired menus. We cater for every taste and diet, and our food is freshly prepared and locally sourced where possible.

We see mealtimes as an opportunity to create joy – whether that’s through themed food days, seasonal menus like our Christmas dinner, or simply enjoying a cup of tea and a slice of cake in the afternoon.

We offer a range of dining options including our welcoming, formal dining room, with comfortable seating and the pleasant hum of friendly conversations. Our residents are encouraged to choose where and with whom they sit, creating a sense of independency. Residents are welcome to make use of our additional lounges or in their own bedrooms.

Residents can enjoy a choice of food options throughout the day – including breakfast ranging from fresh croissants to a full English, a varied lunch menu served with wine, and a range of hot or cold dinners. All meals are adjusted depending on your loved ones dietary needs. Residents are always given a choice of meals, giving them an opportunity of independency.

Visiting a loved one staying at Clare Hall Nursing Home? Friends and family are always welcome at meal times, and there are even private dining facilities available in for those extra special occasions.  We provide a range of refreshments throughout the day for visitors at our café.
